USA Working Group goes HD
DECT Forum's US Working Group, represented by its chairman Mike Rude (DSP Group), participated in the first HD summit in New York in summer. The conference was well attended by representatives of different HD voice market segments (enterprise, mobile and residential). The DECT CAT-iq update presentation given by Mike Rude for the DECT Forum was well received and the attendees were impressed that CAT-iq enables HD voice across both enterprise and residential markets. A new industry organisation is being established with the aim to promote HD voice. The organisation will be called HDConnect and Mike Rude will be a member of the group's steering committee. A follow up event of the HD summit has been scheduled for September. Newsletter will report in next editions.
